IM SO EXCITED I AM GETTING A SCHNEIDERS SKINK BUT I NEED A LITTLE INFO ON HOW TO SET UP ITS TANK

can he go in a 20 gallon tank

can he use a 75watt bulb

an 8.o UVB

please answer these questions

and give me more info

20 gallons is the bare minimum and ther is a good chance it will out grow it i would get a bigger one

75 may be hot enough but it depends on how warm it is i your house if it gets cool then u might think about something stronger set-up the tank a week before u get your skink and monitor the temps if it doesnt get high enough get a hotter bulb (i know in my house a 75watt couldnt hit 100F needed for the basking spot)

no he needs a 30 gallon

it depends on how hot your house it is mine is always around 78 so you might 75 but if it was 70 or lower than yes you need a 75 watt

get a red uvb

they are great pets they are extremely nice almost all the time. also when feeding do not handle or you have a good chance of getting bit
