Im so nervous!?!?!?!?!

Question

im goin to be a freshman at jfk[[and im so nervous]] and its a way way big compus...im goin to the orientation to get my schedule n mii lockers and to c where mi calses r anyways im so nervous!! wat do i do? i need a way to calm down...but how? And everybody [[mi friends]] are so calm n exticted!

how come im not?

n how do i calm down?

OMG Honey don't worry at all...when you walk in, you are most likely gonna see your friends (as I did today) and then just hang out with them...It really isn't that bad AT ALL ! The teachers tell you where you can lign up for stuff and it's just so simple they tell you everything at orientation. We even played a game called beat the bell where everytime the bell rang you had 5minutes to get to your next classes and OMG did I get lost first period! HAHA...But its awesome that you're going to orientation because if the school is big you NEED to know where your classes are in advanced or else you'll have the hardest time...But don't be nervous you will love it ! (just not the speaches some teachers might give..BOOORING!) haha good luck!

Deep breath. It's just excitement and anxiousness, not nervousness. The word nervous has a bad connotation!

If you're still really anxious, why not make some friends, or go with your friends, at orientation so you won't feel so alone and frantic on your first day. I remember my first day. I thought I was going to pass out from sensory overload! Just remember every moment of it because the magic of high school fades quickly.

I'd love to help you more but I don't understand what else you're saying.

If you have your friends you'll be fine. Getting lost isn't as easy as it seems and if you do someone can always help you out. Everyone will be easy on you because they know you're nervous (you're supposed to be!) Just be glad you're no me about to become a freshman at CSU! SOOOO Nerve racking!

Its not as scary as it sounds I just became a froshman a weeek ago :) ya but I go to mountain pointe and we didn't have an orientation were we could find our classes so we had to get our schedules the same morning we had the classes and to top it alll off on mondays they do "traditiional day" which is when they put ur classes CMPLETELY Out of order! I'm pretty sure ur schoole won't do something so confusin so u have it a lot easier. And trust me this way it was barely hard I still made it to class on time and stuff but I'm sure the 1st week they'll let you show up to class a couple minutes late becusse u got lost or something

O AND DON'T BE SCARED OF UPPERCLASSMEN LIKE SENIORS AND STUFF THERE REALLY NOT AS SCARY AS THEY MAY SEEM THEY'RE ACTUALLY REALLY NICE AND IF ANYONE MENTIONS ANYTHING LIKE "FRESHMAN FRIDAY" WHERE THEY PICK ON ALL THE FRESHMANS YA ITS REALLY NOT TRUE THEY JUST SAY IT TO SCARE U I GUESS CAUSE YOU CAN'T TELL WHO'S A FRESHMAN OR NOT CAUSE EVERYONE ALL MIXED UP
