Ive probably asked a bunch of Q's similar to this b4 lol

Im going to spain with my friend, just me and her. Were both 16 and well be staying with her fam. Im mostly nervous for the plane which is 7 hours long and im scard ill bug out on the plane. Ive never been to far from my parents so knowing im in a foreign country is gonna make me feel very..idk not so comfortable. im going for 2 weeks and the anxiety is eating away my brain!...any advice that will make me feel better? =/

  1. Bring a book, if you like. But I think I would bring a cellphone so that I could text people. Texting to a funny guy or something might make you laugh and forget about the plane.

    I started out taking prozac 20mg daily.. then it dropped to 10mg and now I am just taking 5mg and still doing very well. I might be considering taking medication off my life.

    And most importantly, I am here to help you because I know how it feels to have anxiety or panic attacks.

  3. First of all you are very lucky! The plane ride isn't so bad, you could sleep, watch movies, read...the time goes pretty fast. If you are worried about being away from your parents, don't worry that will soon fade once you land in Spain and start hitting the beaches. Enjoy the 2 weeks that you have there, it's not like you are saying goodbye to your parents for a year! You will be back in no time and wishing you were back in Spain!

    There are many people who are probably so jealous of you right now so seize the opportunity to see the sights, experience the culture. It will be an amazing experience for you.
