Im soo scared...PLZ HELP..thanx.?

Question

I was driving my car with no car insurance in got into a accident...no one was hurt and it wasnt even my fault, there was NO damage to his car but my car is damaged in the front...

I go to court soon...what do u think will happen??? Am i going to jail???

This is my 1st affense..i neva been in any trouble...Im a good person...

P.S I live in New Jersey

You will not go to jail.

However there will be fines, and possibly driver license restriction or suspension for a while. But no jail, there's too many people in jail to make space for traffic offenders. You'll be alright, just a little poorer, but wiser.

Ky laws and NJ laws are different, but maybe you should get ins and have that to show when you go to court.  Here no matter who is at fault the driver with no ins is at fault.  Lesson learned.  This will cost you $$$$ for at least the next 5 years.

frist if your a good person you would have proper insurance.  Than you wouldn't be scared, it do not matter if this is your first offence be responsible I am not sure the laws in NJ but I do think you will go to jail possible a fine and suspend sentence in Toronto it a $6000 and get insurance before going to court show the prosecutor.
