I had a football scrimmage yesterday and i was playing o-line and d-line. Now my body is really sore and it hurts to move or do things physical. I have another practice today. What should i do. Another question. I havent learned the plays yet for my team and i left my paper of plays at my school. Tell me some basic well known plays and describe them to me. Thanks :)

  1. Ice real good and stretch. And there aren't any well known plays. Your coach has specific plays of his own. We don't even know his style of play.

  2. Bananas for the potassium. (so you don't cramp up)

Protein is also very important right now, get as much as you can. Your muscles are growing and you need this for that to happen right.

Ibuprofen for the soar muscles. Water for hydration.

Stay away from the amino's and fake stuff. That is one step away from steriods. You need natural nutrition.

And make sure you take a good multi- vitamin every day. And get 9 to 10 hours of sleep every night.

Leaving your play book behind ain't cool. The coach will kick your butt if he finds them first. It shows he can't trust you and your not willing to do your work and show responsibility. Study and stop putting the important stuff off.

  3. WHATS WITH ALL OF THE SORE QUESTIONS! ITS ******* NORMAL!

  4. Soreness is normal; it will go away while warming up for practice.  If you're a lineman if the play is to your side when in doubt look for "OIL"  (Opposite, Inside gap, or Linebacker in that order)  If it's away from you hit the guy across from you and look for someone else to hit downfield.
