  1. ps2 has alot more games, and you dont have to pay for alot of stuf like with xbox 360, But go with XBOX 360  its great.

  2. wow... xbox 360 all the way.

    yeah the ps3 has free online but the online play compared to xbox 360 is like a a matchbox to a lambo. its not that hard to see which one is better. but in my opinion xbox 360 is by far the best console. yeah it has a chance of breaking but i have had the RROD 8 times on a single xbox and it still works =] and the games are AMAZING. ohh and if you get an xbox 360 and you play games like CoD4 and stuff you should also invest in a turtlebeach headset. just saying =D

    google turtlebeach headsets. they are orgasmic. haha

  3. xbox 360

  4. and xbox 360. but i much prefer the wii.

    and for the tvs it depends on what size you have but the 1080i is your best bet.

  5. I have both systems, and I'd say get the ps3.

    ps3

    pros: Better hardware overall, sixaxis controls, Blue-Ray compatibility, very quiet, free online, very good future game lineup, internet browser, ps2 backwards compatibility (for some models) and a bigger hard drive

    cons: not as many good games out right now compared to the 360, trophies only available for a few games

    360

    pros: Best lineup of games out of the 3 consoles and very reliable online play

    cons: The 360 tends to break a lot, I'm on my second because the first got the RROD (red rings of death) and 50 bucks for xbox live gold membership (it is a yearly fee though)

    As for the differences between 720p and 1080i I've noticed major differences between the two.

  6. definitely the 360. the ps3 has slightly better graphics, but its only noticeable when they're right next to each other. the ps3 has practically no online use, and it has very few good games, and almost no third party support. the $50 a year is a small fee for xbox live considering how much better it is than ps3, or even wii. as for 720p vs 1080i, there is a surprising difference. playing a game on 720p looks like nintendo 64 compared to 1080i. i hope this helps you join the ranks of current-gen gamers

  7. LMAO

    "1080p has double the amount of pixels of 720p.

    so everything is far smoother in 1080p than 720p

    6 seconds ago"

    1080p = 1080 pixels

    720p = 720 pixels

    you wont notice much of a difference between 1080i and 720p unless you are watching a lot of fast moving pixels on the screen. The I in 1080i means interlacing, the picture comes from iether side of the screen to form the picture which can cause the picture to not refresh as fast, the p in 720p is for progressive which means it was already scanned and put in place all at one time so you cant see any kind of blur or bleeding effect

  8. 1080p has double the amount of pixels of 720p.

    so everything is far smoother in 1080p than 720p

  9. PS3: Blu-ray player, 720i,1080i and 1080p, not many games that are only for ps3(mgs4,superstardust hd) 40g,80g sold only but you can add more memory, free online service, ps home.

    Xbox360:Hd dvd player but they dnt sell HD dvd's anymore 720i, alot of xbox 360 only games(halo,gears of war) has alot of storage room more than the ps3 , 25$,50$ online service depending what card you got.

    also, games that come out for both systems have the same graphics no diffrence. but ps3 only games have better graphic than xbox360 only games because of blu-ray
