Im starting As psychology in college and i was wondering if it was hard? ?

i have done AS biology and i got a C grade. would that help with psychology?

  1. No, probably not.  Like any course, if you are interested in the subject, learning will be easier.  The hardest part can be when you have to study other psychologists and their history, theories and work.

Knowing about biology can help - depending on what you study - the statistics, knowledge of hormones etc. If you study biological psychology, it would be particularly useful (genetics, neuronal, and hormones again). And, also, will help understanding biological causes of disorders. So yes, it's a help.

    Psychology AS is not hard if you can memorise dates and names of case studies and are interested in it. Focus especially on the evalutive points.


  3. There are different kinds of psychology courses but yours is probably an overview.  It is very interesting because it deals with human behaviour.  You can identify with a lot of what they say.  I don't think the biology course will help much.  Two different things.  Stay on top of your lessons.  Read each night and you will get a higher grade than a C.
