  1. The best you can do is prove them wrong.  Get all A's and soon she'll catch on.

  2.    Confrontation seems to be the best approach I believe...if shes any good at what she has been hired to do then she should see your dilemma and understand. Just approach her like an adult and speak your mind...politely. I share your problem..it helps me to relax before I begin to work, and take my time in the work process. Rushing through things is usually the main problem. Good Luck!

  3. Take time to meet the teacher - away from other students - ask for a quick one-on-one meeting and plainly ask her to stop.

Explain to her that dyscalculia is related only to number confusion and that if you need help you have no problems asking during class or seeking help afterwards.

Handle it like a professional, people tend to treat you like one. ;-)

You won't see your guidance counselor much tbh.

Good luck and congrats on the honors!

  4. The simple and effective way to solve this is to just tell your teacher how you're feeling.  Just be honest, minus the word r****d and stuff.  Just tell her that you feel like she might be treating you a bit different and you don't want her to or her to because you're very smart expect when it comes to numbers and that when you don't understand something you'll be the first to speak up.
