Are there any saltless, non processed ingredients recipes that are more fun than rice, potatoes etc. Im wondering if there are anythings i can bake substituting sugar for pure honey, without baking soda/powder, just honey, wheat flour, oats, and spices

  1. Theres no hope..... Stop making recipies it won't help you at all. Your going to be fat forever.

  2. IF you are using a sugar substitute, you generally have to use baking soda/powder, since if you don't use those, you need yeast to rise, and with that, you need sugar.

honey might work, and if you don't mind it taking a long time, you can get yeast to rise with flours, but its usually recommended starting them with sugar.

  3. In Jamaica the Rastafarians make the same type of dishes with out meat and dairy also, I like to make "pone" which is cake like with no eggs or dairy and you can use any starch veg like cassava, Jamaican sweet potato, US yams, green bananas or plantains eve ripe one make it up and bake it like a cake, but it is denser and like a pudding more than a cake, I use molasses or raw cane juice extract powder.

You can use oat flour or wheat flour for this, but fine cornmeal is best and you can make a sweet johnnycake or dumpling like festival with it to, any more ideas just let me know, I am open to questions.
