Im starting middle school a week late.?

Question

ok so im still on my summer vacation overseas at my grandmas.

school starts on the 25th for me. my ticket back home is booked for 29th so i will be a week late. is there anything i should know or worry about???

omg seriously change your ticket so it will be on time! trust me.. you do NOT want to be a week late! and middle school is scary for the first time so i would rather be with people that are experiencing their first time in middle school too with you! the first day for me was scary but then I got use to it..and I wasn't that scared because I knew other people were there that were also experiencing middle school for the first time too. but if you really want..you could but Im just giving you some good advice :)

Have your parents contact the Guidance Department to let them know the circumstances.  They'll help you when you finally get there.

Definitely not, the first week of school is always getting all the paperwork done and getting all the seating arrangements done, learning everyone's names and other busy stuff. You should not worry, just make sure you come prepared to school and ready to work, teacher like students like that. Good Luck and enjoy your summer.

You need to speak to each one of your teachers when you get home, preferably before you get to class. Lots of brownie points for this! Tell them you could not help your circumstances and ask them if you should set up a time to meet with them to catch up with what they've done. Your teachers will then see that you are motivated to be part of the class and not just someone who would rather be somewhere else. You'll get to know your teachers quickly, and you'll have no trouble catching up.

Call your parents and have them get you home in time for school. You need to start on time.

I am not too sure, but I would say it wouldn't be too much of a problem as its like only 5 days behind, anymore than that would be a problem I think.
