Im starting to run about 3 miles a day for cross country coming up in the fall and im wondering if running?

  1. it gives a little bit, i notice sometimes if i do a long run that my arms are a little sore from the swinging


  2. Well yes and no.

    Yes if you do push-ups and lift weights. Which will make you a better runner.

    No if you just run.

  4. its mostly leg and cardio stregthening but it will workout your whole body; your arms not so much

  6. running helps everything, but you might want to bench too.
