Im staying at the hilton in argintina is this close to downtown or downtown?

How is the public transportation? Is the hilton around alot of stuff in walking distance? Any good resturant suggestions? Also how much cash do i need or should i use credit card? Im not rich so im also looking for somre cheap things to do? Do they have thrift stores?

  2. Hilton hotel is in Puerto Madero and that is downtown.

    You have a lot of restaurants nearby. If  you want to eat great meat, go to "Cabaña Las Lilas". If not, there are a lot of good places to eat in Puerto Madero.

    If you need to travel, as a foreigner I would suggest you taking a cab since you may get lost with buses. Besides, you know that the exchange rate benefits you, so it won't be expensive to take a taxi.

    As a tourist, you may want to visit Recoleta's cementery, you cannot miss a tango show. And there are a lot of things you can do in Buenos Aires.
