Im stuck in new york without a car?

i need to rent a car i dont have a credit card i only have cash and its needed for pay in credit to pay for deposit for a car rental. does anyone know any places where i can rent a car here in new york????

If you are in New York City you really do not need a car.  In Manhattan, a car is a real liability.  You have no place to park it, and the parking fees alone would make the rental cost look like chump change.

You should re-think your position.

Look in your yellow pages.

Or near any airport - there 2 giant airports in NYC.

P.S.  I live in NYC - if you are in Manhattan (or going there) forget the car.  ride the subway.

Some rentals will accept cash (Most won't)  but you will have to call them to ask

If I'm not mistaken dollar rent a car takes cash but Im not a hundred percent sure...call to make sure.

Public transportation. Its the best way to go.
