Im stuck on the sims 2 on ps2?

please help! I'm stuck on the sims 2 on ps2 im at the last house and ive completed all the characters gold wants apart from my sim, i can't finish the career. is there a carer thats easier to finish? Or a cheat? thanks

I was looking for what to do after a character sim is finished with their career.  Do they just not go anymore? or do I ignore them and let them do whatever they want?

As for your question: Some careers are very hard to finished. Best thing to do is to not have a job at all and fill up the skill motives. Once they are full, they won't be an issue anymore and you won't have to worry. The biggest issues I've had was with friends. Some careers need at least 13 friends for a promotion. A good way to do this is to use the mood cheat.  Once the mood is full and happy, you buy the hot tub and place it near a wall. When you get in the hot tub, Call a sim over to join you. Once the sim settles into the water, hit pause and move an object in front of where they are sitting. They won't be able to get out of the hot tub and you'll have control over how long they talk and the friendship rises. At some point they will complain about how they are feeling, just ignore it. They won't die in the hot tub.  Good luck.

Cheat Gnome:  L1 R1 up X R2

Fill Motives/Mood: up O up right L2

Money ($9,999): R1 L1 R2 right left

i know that you really don't finish a career.

you just don't work and your boss [i think] will call you.

first he or she says "come back to work"

then don't work a few days and your boss

will call again! he or she will say "you're fired"
