Im suck on all of these problems, any help please, im not cheating, i honestly cant find these in the book...?

I cant find these in the book...

both of the major parties apportion delegates to each state based on

a) its population and the outcome of its most recent pimary election

b)its electorial votes and its ecord in recent elections

c)its population and its record in recent presidential elections

d)the # of its citizens who are who are registered members of the party and its rate of voter turnout

In 1996, some form of the presidential primary was in place in

a) all 50 states

b)42 of states, columbia, and puerto rico

c)16 states and columbia

d)states that have hosted national conventions

the aim of the reforms of the of the democratic party since 1968 has been to

a) make the convention system more ecomomical

b) make the convention system more effecient in nominating a winning ticket

c) promote greater grassroots involvement in the convention process

d) unify the party ideologically so that the plaform can be more specific

and lastly: critics of the current primary system say that.

  1. First one may depend on which state you are in.  My guess would be 'd', but I have little confidence in the answer.

    Second one:  some states still hold caucuses, so it's not 'a'.  More than 16 states held primaries in 1996, so it's not 'c'.  This may be in your class notes instead of in the book.

    Third one might be on the Democratic Party website.

    Fourth question didn't make it on the posting.
