Im taking pics for someones wedding...what do i charge?

im a photography student, and i just was wondering what people think a reasonable price would be. i will shoot the rehersal dinner, pre-wedding, wedding, and reception.i will put it all on a disc and they can print whatever they want. so what should i charge?

Depends on you.  Some professional photographers will charge a few hundred dollars to do the same thing you are doing and they will keep the royalties for it.  Since you are a student,  and this is just as much about you getting experience as it is about getting a few bucks, I'd say no less than $75.  If you have an expensive camera and want to do some editing, charge more.  I just wouldn't go less than that 75.  

    Last year I did a CD layout design for a small band, 4 pages and the layout on the CD itself.  I figured I was new, so it was experience and only charged $50.  It was a lot of work, but it turned out awesome when it was all done.  The professional price for all my work was $800 from the pace that printed their CDs.  I felt like I should have at least charged $150 for my job. After doing that Job, I raised my rates for any graphic work  that I do.
