i have a fair complexion, too, my step-mom as well, and we both look better in pink. As long as It's a light brown you should be fine wearing that color lipstick.

maybe he's just being honest? my bf prefers pink, too, but for me it works out because that's the color i like. Maybe you could switch it up every once in a while for him? but i wouldn't wear anything i don't absolutely love, so if you don't like the reds and the pinks, tell him you like brown more, you respect his opinion but it's your lips not his. than give him a kiss after you say it so he isn't too mad about you not wearing the color lipstick he wants you to wear. that's what i'd do.

I also have fair skin, too brown or to thick brown can look S****y. Pinks are always good. Or is your bf a controlling jerk you need to break up with?

This boy better pull his head in.  If he is being controlling to you

then say so, tell him sometimes you will wear the red to please

him, when you feel like it. But since it is your lips , you will wear

the colour you like and when you like.

If he is being pushy { we could be wrong here } then put him

straight , otherwise you will be told about evry thing else you do.
