  1. If you are prepared for alot of work, go for it. I recently adopted a mini dachshund who's 2 right legs were hit by a car and her owner had never taken her to the vet, now they are healed very wrong and she can only walk on the front one slightly. she requires a lot of visits to the vet. She has to be picked up to go up or down any steps and always will be. Most vets will tell you it is not healthy to allow any dog with handicap legs to hop down or up on anything. it adds extra stress on their back. Also if you live in an area with large birds (I live in the country) you can't leave small handicap animals outside alone, due to the fact they will be seen as food, and it is true large birds will take small animals. But if you think you can handle alll the extra work involved then I am sure the little one will be thankful. Good Luck.

  2. Be prepared because it's gonna be tough. If you don't give him a home, nobody probably will.

  3. This is a forum about HUMAN adoption. Maybe you should post your question in the Pets section.

BTW: if you have to ask, you're not ready.

  4. He's cute..and its a really nice thought...but be ready for a lot of hard work...if you have a short temper ..i would say NO...

  5. i think if you're prepared for it, then yeah, of course you shouldd! and he's adorable!

  6. If you are prepared to do this for the poor puppy and I mean, care for him wholly, then he is one lucky pup. It is so sad to see unwanted animals at the pound, they sit there, many of them have been neglected or abused and some end up being put to sleep because no one wants them. Good on you.

  7. you are a handicapped puppy...

  8. He's so cute. I think it says alot about the goodness of your character that you want to help him.

Maybe you can't get advice on how to fit him with a K9 Cart from these sites.

  9. OMG of couse, he's so adorable! He reminds me of my dog in the second picture because of his facial expression! Is he part Chihuahua by any chance?

You might want to take a look at this - it involves a dog adopted BECAUSE of his disability!
