Im thinking about buying a 98 tahoe for $8000 is it worth it?

i know it eats alot of gas because it is lifted but its really clean and runs like a champ

For $8k it better have under 100k miles and look brand friggin new. First thought is that it is way overpriced.

Mileage will depend on size of tires and axle gearing. I would guess that you would get mid teens on the highway

no..they waste alot of gas..and they are ugly..if it was the new model sure.but i have seen those cars even 98's for as low as $2,500 on craigslist and ebay..Dont buy it....your going to be getting 7 miles a gallon

It depends. I've seen 90's tahoes around from anywhere to $2500 to $5000 grand. They weren't in the best condition but they were drivable and did what you need to do. In my opinion, don't buy it, you never know a better deal could come up tommorow.
