Im thinking about joining the canadian forces which branch should i pick?

Im thinking about joining the NAVY but i dont know if they can apply for selection into JTF2 if they cant then i probably will join the Army. Can people in the navy join JTF2?

  2. The Canadian Forces is a fully integrated military force, with all members doing the same infantry-type basic training course together.

    JTF2 accepts applications from all branches - they just require that you serve at least two years full time or three years part time in the Canadian Forces first.

  3. JTF2 is a combat special forces unit,similar to the original air borne. I don't believe you can enlist in it but must earn your way in. Then army is your best bet. Personally the military is not for everyone.I'd chose a career that if you decide that in 5 yrs the military life was not for you then you could take something you learn on to a civilian career. Eg. Tech, Engineers, Medic....careers like that you could further build a future with. Not much call for hit men in the want ads.
