Im thinking about playing club volleyball but about how much does it cost?

it depends if you are going on a travel or non travel team. it also depends on how much you will travel, and how good the club is. around a 1000 is about how much my club cost and we travel all around the country. even went to the junior olympics, but before you join a club, go check it out and see how good it is! you dont want 2 spend thousands of dollars on a club thats not verry good. so good luck finding a club! also, its pretty hard 2 get a volleyball  scholarship with out club because ur game  will improve so much

I apologize, I'm not sure exactly how much it costs- but it is COMPLETELY worth it. My game improved so much by playing club ball. Go for it!

go for playing club it is worth it.  in my area it goes from 50 to 1500 dollars

Clubs do vary widely in the costs.  There are clubs that are under $1000.  There are clubs that are nearly $3000.  It depends on the number of practices and the number of tournaments.  And the location of the tournaments.  Some teams play only local tournaments and some play every qualifier around the country.  Some teams practice once a week.  Some practice 3 times a week.  Some play 1 tournament a month.  Some play 3 tournaments a month.  Some teams have one coach.  Some have 2.  

If you go to the usavolleyball.org web site, then the WannaPlay link, then the RVA link and you will see a map of the US.  Click on the area where you live.  (Or use the link below.)  Follow through to see the juniors section.  Many of the junior clubs have web sites.  And they will tell you when the tryouts are and how much everything will cost.  Take a look at how many practices and how many tournaments they plan on playing.

Do this soon.  Clubs in my area are starting tryouts on Monday, July 7th.  (As in tomorrow night.  The season ended yesterday and the tryouts are tomorrow night.)

In Arizona, our club costs depend on a lot of things.

1. The type of team you are on (traveling, regional, or local.)

2. The size of the club (how many teams, girls per team, coaches etc.)

3. The amount of stuff you get as far as uniforms etc.

4. The practice area (many of our clubs don't have they're own facilities so we rent schools, gyms etc.

I think my club is between $2-3000 a season.

Its pricey but it is so worth it.

There is no way i would have even made a team coming into high school if i hadn't played and now its helped me improve faster than most of the girls!

The volleyball club in my area costs around $500 for club and $1,300 for open, and I think national is about $1,500-2,000. Like Gordon said it all depends on how much the team travels and also, in my area, it depends on age.
