  1. If you're smart, don't start. If you aren't, then go for it. Only because multiple head shots really takes a toll on your brain. Only a small handful of boxers ended their careers with brains in tact.

  2. WORK WIT DA JAB...IT HELPS U GET IN IF U GOT SHORT ARMS. KEEP UR HANDS UP AT AL TIME . RUN ALOT SO UL BE USED 2 DA MOVIN AROUND N U WNT GET TIRED. UR HEAD SHUD ALWAYS B DWN SO U WNT GET HIT WIT AN UPPERCUT N BREAK UR NOSE OR SUMTHIN. ALSO ALWAYS BREATHE IN THRU UR NOSE.

  3. Take a punch for yourself, then see if you are ready. Take it straight to the face. Get some defense, and offense.

  4. If you need to think for too long its not for you.

You can be taught boxing skills but you cant be taught courage or heart or desire.

  5. Don't know who Elijah Burke is but go to a boxing gym and see if you like it. Boxing is a tough sport and you will not get good at it by watching other people fight on pay-per-view. You need constant determination while training and never give up. go to boxinghelp.com and you can find a boxing gym near you

  6. Move like a butterfly, sting like a bee. did someone beat me to it?

    EDIT - Nope!

  7. believe in yourself as in dont give up if you are getting mad. listen to your coach. dont be shy. do excersices everyday

  8. You should seriously consider learning EVERYTHING you can about Parkinson's Disease while you still have an intact brain.

    Seriously.

    Cause of Parkinson Disease

Although Parkinson’s disease can occur from viral infections or exposure to environmental toxins.....

....People who sustain substantial head injuries face an increased risk of developing Parkinson’s disease years later. This has been shown in more than one study, therefore, it is safe to assume that head injury, such as in boxing, is a cause of Parkinson's disease.

  9. Keep your guard up. Work off the jab.

  10. Don't

  11. if need tips go to amatuer boxing and if you can handle the traing thats good but then next you need to be able to take a shot to the face if you cant dont join fighting sports

  12. Yes, boxing is a very dangerous sport.  It is also a great way to condition the body and discipline yourself.  You don't have to step into the middle of the ring right away and start taking blows to the head.  Just learn the basics to start.  Hitting the speed ball and heavy bag.  Learn some footwork and movement.  Then, and only if you're 100% ready and willing, you can step in and try sparring a little.  I did it for a while and I loved it.  I've never been in better shape then during the two years I spent traing in a boxing gym.  Good luck champ.
