And im wondering how lond it takes to get the child from when you tell them you are enterested?

it depends alot. they ask u a lot of background info, it helps 2 b married. They sometimes get really personal so make sure u are fit.

ps. its easier to adapt in china than in the US (assuming u live there)

so if u would like a chinese baby they are a lil bit easier to get.

hi carrie,

you stated in a previous question that your husband wants more children and you were less interested.  have you now changed your mind and wish to have more children by adoption?  i'm confused...

Adoptions are all different.  I wish I could give you a clear answer, but the reality is that each type of adoption can be different, each agency can be different, etc.  Your best bet is to contact a local reputable adoption agency or foster care program to discuss things in more detail.

It all depends on where you are wanting to adopt the child from. Where I work i am involved in some adoptions and i know some of our adoptions can go on for years.  It depends on how old you are, marital status, the age of the child, any problems the child may have...and the list goes on.  its really hard to say.
