Im thinking of getting an iphone. Good idea or not???

I would like to see what you all think are they good and should i get one? because they are expensive and want i would like everyones opinions on if its worth it or not.

I wouldn't get one. As much as they have amazing features, they have had very bad reviews, especially when it comes to the touch screen. It'll scratch up in no time, and with my experiance with touch screens, break within a year. I'm sure many out there remember the LG Chocolate and how bad that touch screen was. Even the "poor man's iphone" the Viewty isn't brilliant. There are few great phones on the market that still look stylish with amazing features and a lot cheaper and hassel free.

I would recomend the Samsung Soul. Looks great, available in a variety of colours, has a small touch pad that isn't as fragile as the iphones' and many many features. I'm yet to find a bad review on it.

IT depends on if your gonna need all the features and can handle the expensive monthly bill. I would rather buy an ipod touch( all the same feaures without just the phone and internet is free) and get another phone. Youll probably save a lot of money and get all the same features.

get an LG dare from verizon instead. its the same price with the start of a contract $199 and its an all around better option. It is touchscreen just like the iphone and was made to compete with the iphone. verizon also has way better service than cingular so youll have service in more places on the dare than on your iphone. the iphone also doesnt send or recieve pic messages u have to do it thru email from ur iphone which can be a pain and also the iphone does not have a camcorder which the dare does.

It depends for what you use the phone. Example I am a student, I have a lot of useful things in my iPhone to help me, there are a lots of Appstore Apps that every person will find some that are suitable for him/her..

From My experience, I am happy with my iPhone :)
