Im thinking of going on the patch, but i want to know some of the pro's and con's to it???

I suggest you try Nuva Ring, it lasts a month (3 weeks in, 1 week out) it's just as effective as the patch but without the chance of blood clots

The Pro's are simply just preventing pregnancy and regulating your monthly cycle. The Con's are blood clots, headaches, nausea, and such. All methods of birth control all have just about  the same Pros's and Con's

If you mean the Ortho Evra patch, good luck finding a doctor that will prescribe it. No one I ever went to would after the first time I got it back in 2004 because of all the law suits and stuff that happened. Plus I am usually a smoker so that really increases the risks of blood clots with it. I liked it because it was easy...once a week and no pill to take everyday, but there's so many hormones in it that it put me into severe depression and I gained almost 20 lbs...when I am a petite 5' 95 lbs woman. There are a lot more cons than pros, so if you're looking for something simple and easy to use I would suggest the NuvaRing.
