  1. The links below are excellent. But here are a few:

Keep your breathing calm and your feet on the ground. If you can't see your opponent, just move your head and take a few steps back so you can reset. Don't wait too long before punching and keep that right hand straight and tight.

Other than that, read the links below... they have great info.

  2. Sure, boxing is mostly cardio so you'll want to be prepared for a work out. with in a few hours of going, eat a bowl of whole grain cereal with some milk and either apples, apple sauce or apple juice. This meal is one of the best meals to eat before doing any kind of cardio session, I've been eating it right before I go to train for muay thai kick boxing since I started and it keeps me going with out getting burned out. Diet is very important, don't take it lightly.

Remember when boxing: chin down, hands up. When you throw a punch, the opposite hand should stay up and be guarding your face. Never throw a punch and drop the opposite hand unless you wanna get clocked.

Foot work is important, you'll need to be on the balls of your feet for most of the session so it's important to start training your calf muscles. You'll probably want to start running too because endurance is key for boxing. My trainer always tells me half of your wins come from running, that's how important it is to build your endurance.

Since your 6th you probably have some good reach and your pretty thin, the perfect body type to start boxing. Just go try it out and see how you like it. There's respect amongst fighters and no one will treat you badly, there is nothing to be nervous about. Just go give it a shot and see how you like it. I wish you the best.

  3. Be tough.  Keep your chin up.  Never let anyone get in the way of what you want.

Always cover your head.  Be aggressive but patient.  Get comfortable and make your opponent nervous and on the defensive.

Although, you probably won't be fighting anytime soon.  You'll learn the basics with the punching bag.  There's a lot of technique involved in boxing.  I wish you the best.

  4. start hitting a puching bag and to get bthe feel of it it will increase your power

  5. nervous of what man, boxing is like da best sport ever, u shud really try it u gon love it n if u r dat light u shud get some weight man coz if u r thin u gon get in a lot of pain man, i mean pain feels gud n u lear from ur mistakes. its super gud man take smthin like classes first. here is a helpful website www.flashmavi.com
