  1. For your own sanity stay in Paris - youve got so many things to do there and you dont have to have Disney with everything! Your son/daughter will love the Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysee, river Seine and all the other great things to do in Paris

  2. My friend took her three kids to Paris for two weeks. She stayed in Paris and took her kids to Disney.  The cheapest thing she found was to rent a small apartment.  She was able to buy food and eat in instead of spending money on eating out all of the time.  It is very common to rent aprtments in europe.  It is not like in the states.

  3. not sure which is cheapest but when we went with our children it was so much easier to be on site.  When we wanted to go further a field the metro was there at the park entrance, it couldn't have been any easier.  Also by staying on site the children do have the full on experience.  Make sure if you go and can go when the schools are off you will find it much quieter.  We went during the spring half term and didn't que much at all.  We have also been during the autumn halfterm that was much busier as the europeans do a lot more for halloween than we do.  My girls both loved it and didn't seem to mind the queues.

  4. If its only for a few days stay at the resort or just outside. Paris is a beautiful city but you don't want the hassle of travelling everyday with a 4 year old. I wouldn't think this to be cost effective if that's what your looking at.

  5. I would stay in euro Disney, saves travelling. Paris not the easiest place to drive in or around

  6. Well, I found Disney to be overrated - I went with my children aged, at that time, 4 and 5 and they got very tired of the lengthy queues (even for the tame rides) after quite a short time.  On that particular holiday, we were staying about an hour's drive from Paris in a Eurocamp site half-way between Soisonne and Compiegne and found a fantastic theme park called Parc Asterix which was geared at under 12s, was amazingly clean, the rides were great - not too scary, but not babyish, and we didn't have to queue for a thing.  If they liked a ride, they just ran round and did it again.  I can't remember what the entry price was, but it was considerably less than Eurodisney.  Just thought I'd pass that on to you as our family really enjoyed it - and after our day at Disney, we reckoned we would rather have had another visit ot Parc Asterix instead.
