  1. Hiya, I stayed in Wynn's Hotel it's just off O'Connell St.  Ideally situated just before the bridge.  It was very near to Temple Bar about 10mins walk.  It was quiet and the breakfast was lovely.  The tram stopped just outside if you wanted to take a journey. Your best bet is to go on a green tour bus it's around 14euros and you can get on and off the bus all day up to 5.30pm. Dont buy tickets for tours off any one else just the green buses some of them are fake.  The shopping is great . It's the food and drink you may find expensive.  Also if you are flying take a bus from the airport it's about 1.60euros taxis are expensive.  I love Dublin i am going for 1 day 23 April,  i got online and got flights for £22.00 return.   Oh nearly forgot there is a Ghost Bus on O'Connell St. at night but it's around 25 euros but it's different.  Enjoy yourselves.....it's a fantastic city.

  2. bewelys 99euros single double or double dulux all 99euros, less than 10 min taxi ride to temple bar... very plush hotel at a great price...

  3. Try the Clarion my husband took me there Valentines 6 years ago its about a 10 min walk from Temple Bar.  But is a very nice hotel 5* I think rooms were lovely, breakfast fab and had a great swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi.  The hotels in the Temple Bar area are mainly 2 * or 3 * there are a few nice ones all depends what you wanna do.  But we didnt find it a problem being 10 mins out.

    Heres the website
