  1. You can find some ideas on www.plumparty.com

    Good luck!

  2. Make miniature cash bags stuffed with candy and fake money by stenciling dollar signs onto blank muslin bags. Tie them closed with a rope.

Create your own personalized decks of cards to deal to guests as they come in the door. Or give them fuzzy dice.

Purchase magnets, miniature dice, playing cards and coins at a craft store to create refrigerator magnet party favors.

Take photos of your guest as they enter the party against a casino backdrop with an instant or digital camera. Put the photos in a casino theme decorated frame for your guests to take as memorabilia of the party.

Wrap napkins with glitzy jewelry or a flashy bowtie to create a party favor that pulls double duty.

Print personalized candy wrappers with a catchy phrase to satisfy your guests' sweet tooth.

  3. We had a casino graduation party for my son last year. We ordered poker chip key chains and poker sunglasses for favors. You can also buy chocolate poker chips and gummy poker cards. For prizes....do you have a casino nearby? You could buy a package to give away. You can also give away books form professional poker players.

We had dice salt and pepper shakers and poker card appetizer plates...there are so many possibilities.

  4. I did this theme for my husbands birthday a couple of years ago.  For favors I ordered frosted shotglasses with the slogan "Feeling Lucky" and the date on them and filled them with chocolate poker chips and wrapped them in cellophane tied with red and black ribbons.  I ordered the shotglasses from http://www.discountmugs.com  For prizes I did some casino related items, like a poker set, an electronic handheld casino game things like that.  But then I also included prizes like candles and boxes of chocolate, some kitchen gadgets, a throw, a set of bar glasses, drink mixes, alcohol, bar accessories, an ice bucket, a mixed drink recipe book, bar towels, dice, etc... I wrapped each prize in clear red cellophane and tied them with black and gold ribbons.  I don't know what you are doing but the party I threw had regulation sized tables and professional dealers and we all played with play money.  The way we did the prizes was at the end of the night you cashed in your money for tickets.  Like a ticket cost $5000 so if you ended with $10000 then you got 2 tickets.  Then one of the dealers would draw a ticket out of a hat and whoever had the matching number got to come up and pick a prize out of the pile.

I also went to a paint your own pottery place and wrote my slogan and date in the center of the platter and then in each corner I painted a different card.  Then once it had been fired they gave me a pen that guests could use to sign it and when the party was over I took it home and put it in the oven for a few minutes and it "baked on" the signatures.  It made for a really nice keepsake that is also functional.

For the cake I had a local bakery make look like 2 playing cards fanned out.  I think one was a king and one was an ace but one of them was chocolate cake and the other was vanilla.

For decorations I used casino themed balloons in bunches all around and I hung these red, black, and gold spirals from the ceiling.
