Im throwing a huge party at my?

Ok well im having a huge party at my house for my birthday. About 40 people are invited and coming, and its outdoors ONLY. Pool party at day and then something like ravish at night. I want it to be super fun. Im thinking of many things to be like glow in the dark and strobe lights.

Though, my parents are going to be home but im isolating them from going outside. They are pretty strict. So what can i do to make it fun but still not loose my parents temper.

HELP!

also, where could i get good stuff for the party,

Oriental Trading Company has cool glow sticks, bracelets, etc...the best thing to do about your parents is to talk to them beforehand about what they expect and what you expect.  Reaching a compromise before the party will ensure that there are no surprises later on.  Good music is key, just make sure you keep the sound level in check (don't want neighbors calling the cops!).  Have great food, and if allowed, have a bonfire and roast smores, hot dogs, etc and just hang out!  Remember to be safe rather than sorry!  Good luck and have fun!

This is a site that I went to to find out how to throw a cool party without my parents buggin out and my party was nominated as one of the best of the year, and you can find most of that stuff at walmart or party and Dollar.
