Im throwing a surprise 16th birthday party for my friend...?

What is something i can do to make the party original and fun ... not just another party

Have a Luau and have a Hula dancers, they can do a show and then give you all lessons.

Or

Have Salsa dancers come and do the same thing, have a Mexican theme, pinatas hanging and sombreros.

you could also have a big kids only little kids party with dresing up and pin the tail and pass the parcel and musical chairs and clowns and BOUNCY castles and BUBBLES *takes breath*

There is also the possibility of hiring a magician, they are great

or a stand up comedian

and having lots of fun games, because they r turning 16 you could probably add in some teenage games like spin the bottle or that one where you have to pass a piece of paper with only your lips.

Hire out a hall for it.. its much safer and you can put so many more decorations down and put a smoke machine without getting in trouble with your parents because the entire house smells of artificial smoke for weeks after.
