Exchanging my money in the US or when I get to Iceland. Where would I have a better exchange rate, or would the exchange rate be the same?

  1. it would be  best at iceland!!!here they dont change ur money for icelandic money!!


  2. Exchange some at your bank while still in the US. Most large cities internationally have exchange kiosks, but they charge an exorbitant fee. Make sure you have traveler's checks, too; that way if your wallet gets stolen they can be replaced.

  3. In my presonal experience, you can actually get a better exchange rate by using your ATM card and just taking money out over there.  But that usually depends on your bank.  An easy way to check is looking at the exchange rates right before you leave in both locations.
