Im traveling to USA from Canada.What are my restrictions for bringing back any goods? (eg food/clothing)?

if you're just buying souvenirs you really don't have to claim them.  I mean if it's just for a day just tell them "ah about $30 in souvenirs).  If your there for a weekend, just tell them its about $100.  You shouldn't have a problem, I never had.  Also, stop at the duty free on your way back and tell them how long you've been there and how much booze you can bring back for that amount of time. they have AMAZING prices, like almost half price on everything.

As for food, I live within 10 miles of the border and I cross it almost weekly to grocery shop/buy gas and have never had a problem getting back into Canada.
