  1. get the tube to liverpool street and catch a train from there

  2. Right I used to live in Chelmsford, you will have to get a tube to Liverpool street station, then the train to Chelmsford, takes about 45 mins, get off at Chelmsford station and walk across the road to the bus station and get a bus to either Billericay or Brentwood, both of these go past Hylands Park which is about 3 miles from Chelmsford town center, or get a cab which will cost about £7 from Chelmsford station.

Edit: there are loads of cabs parked outside the station.

Edit 2: They offer a free return shuttle bus from Chelmsford town center. Here is the exact page from the site.

    Shuttle bus service

Essex Buses Ltd operate a FREE return bus service from the following locations to Hylands Park and back. Please note that Coval Lane, Duke Street and Viaduct Road are all a short walk from Chelmsford Rail Station.

Please note that the festival on site bus station is not the same as the pickup/drop off for cars they are in different parts of the site, the bus station is near Yellow Campsite

Friday - Coval Lane: To locate this service you need to use the front exit from the train station, turn right under the viaduct onto Duke Street, continue past the Bus Station then turn left at the traffic lights onto Coval Lane where the buses will be waiting.

    Friday 17th August

Coval Lane, Chelmsford to V Festival Bus Station (Hylands Park) 9.30am - 11pm

    Saturday 18th & Sunday 19th August

Coval Lane, Chelmsford to V Festival Bus Station (Hylands Park) 9.30am - 7pm

V Festival Bus Station to Parkway, Viaduct Road 7pm - 1am (Sunday)

    Monday 20th August

V Festival Bus Station to Duke Street 6am - 12noon

Buses will run continuously throughout these times.

  3. where is hylands park? you either want

    http://www.tfl.gov.uk/modalpages/2625.as...

    or

    http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/

  4. dont noooooo

  5. http://journeyplanner.tfl.gov.uk/user/XS...

Journey planner will tell you hot to get there and you can exclude certain methods of transport and you type in where you want to go and where you want to start from.

Either put in a postcode of a place of interest or both but it's pretty easy, it's like my saviour before I travel somewhere new!
