  1. Take imodium.

  2. I believe the best currency in Turkey (from experiece) to be chocolate coins or plastic coulorfull buttons.

The excange rate goes up and down but they work out about 0.64 to the pound.

I bought 2 wifes, 3 camels and a funny looking dwarf with ginger hair (for novelty value) for just over 11 buttons and a bag of chocolate coins.

    Hope this helps!!

  3. You will be best off taking either Turkish money or a mix of that and Euros

  4. take both english and lira, u get more 4 the english pound they love it.

  5. Try to keep at least a 200 -300 Turkish Liras on you.

English Pound is ok but not used much you need to exchange it. Euros are mostly accepted but, currency exchange rate can hurt you. Always try to use "currency exchange offices" located at almost any corner. Airports and banks are generally expensive to exchange. Do not exchange pounds to euros in Turkey (it can be very expensive.)

  6. up to you. doesnt matter. if you get pound you can change it to lira in turkey easily in airport
