Im tryin to hook up a router to my modem i do it but the internet dosent work wat do i do?

What kind of router (and modem) are you using?  If the modem, handles the ip address assignment it could be that there is a conflict between the router and modem.  You may have to disable this feature in one so that the other can "give" out the dsn information.  Btw, dns refers to the translation of internet addresses into ip addresses.  For instance, www.cnn.com cooresponds to an ip address that is easier to find.

Make sure it is all installed correctly and then reboot your pc!!
