  1. What area of the country do you live in?

You can purchase a water cooler from a water delivery service, without actually getting the water delivered.  I'd personally suggest purchasing it from one of the companies owned by Nestle Waters-- they have awesome customer service and all of their coolers are backed by a 2-year all-inclusive warranty.  Their pricing ranges from $39.99 for a room temperature designer crock, to 129.99 for a basic hot and cold, 159.99 for the better model, and 199.99 for a premium stainless steel cooler.

If you go to PolandSpring.com and enter your zip code, it will bring you to whatever Nestle Waters brand is in your area.  You might not be able to order JUST the cooler online-- so you can call their Sales department and get it that way.  They'll usually give you a couple free sleeves of cups, a dispenser and a free case of on-the-go size bottles of water for shopping with them.

  2. i work at home depot.. we sell them there starting at $50 and going up to $200, depending on the size and the features..

im tellin ya though..i spent a little extra money on a dispenser and bought a "zero water" dispenser..

you put tap water into the glass crock (5 gallon) and it filters it..removes EVERYTHING..and ultimately saves money on buying all those gallons of water!

Seriously..im a water snob and where i live, the water is gross..i grew up with spring and well water..tasty stuff..and the water out of the zero water dispenser is amazing!!
