Im trying to find a summer job even tough im 14 and i live in vista,CA?

I know a lot about computers so i was thinking some were like geeks or something?

You are too young. You have to be 15, but hardly anyone will hire you at that age. Most businesses require a minimum of 16 years old as stated on the work permit.

You might be too young. You might have to start out at a fast food place/deliver newspapers/odd jobs for neighbors/convenient stores/grocery stores/drug stores/gas stations.. good luck with the job hunt.

There are several summer jobs involving computers and the Internet that you might want to check out.  If you’re good at webpage design, you can design websites or even graphics for a website.  Another option is if you’re familiar with Facebook, you could offer to help others to make their web presence.  Or what about helping your friends or family post stuff to sell on e-Bay.
