Im trying to find addresses my deceased mother lived at.how can i do this?

  1. Personal property tax and real estate tax records should be on file in the courthouse archives. befriend the old librarian/archivist.


  2. You don't need her addresses if you have a filed estate. The court will make the claim for you. If there is no estate, take a certified copy of her death certificate to the Michigan Secretary of State's office in Lansing (not the motor bureau offices in your area) and file the death certificate with the claim for the unclaimed property. If you're trying to find every address she ever had, you have an uphill battle.
