  4. Yew might like some that i said I liked in my about me[: They're all alternitive.

    x*x

ps. boys like girls is rock xD

  5. Nothing 'cooler' than rediscovering an old band for yourself and spreading the word to other hipsters, if kudos is really what you care about. Cult names include the German Bands Can and Neu! and New York acts such as the New York Dolls, Suicide, Television and the ubiquitous Velvet Underground.

If the fashionable post punk sound of new acts such as Bloc Party and Foals is your thing, be sure to check out the real innovators, British bands of the post punk era. Gang Of Four's 'Entertainment!' album, Wire's 'Pink Flag' and 'Chairs Missing' and The Pop Group's 'Y' may strike you as weird on the first listen, but once they've grown on you you'll love them for life.

Looking at the bands you've listed above, a classic, truly great '80s band is The Replacements, whose music you could describe as 'punk pop'. Their best albums IMO are 'Let It Be', 'Tim' and 'Pleased To Meet Me'. I promise you that if you like Sum 41, The Replacements are way, way better and their frontman Paul Westerberg's lyrics are incredible. Give these guys a shout to your friends and you'll be the coolest cat on the block!

  6. yeah. go here. sit and listen...

  7. omg i love boys like girls!!!

    anyways:

    we the kings

    yellowcard

    the red jumpsuit apparatus

    metro station

    switchfoot

    paramore

cute is what we aim for

    all time low

    relient k

some of these might be considered rock though... but they're all great bands! hope i helped =)
