Im trying to lose as much lbs in 2 months. Going for 30lb to 40lb to lose. please help me!?

HI, am 15 years old, 6'1 and 280lbs.

I have about 2 months intil i go back to school, and i really want to change my look. For my size i really can run and i been lifting weights, but im feeling that im not doing eough.

Is there anyone that can help me with my goal? Any weight lifting tips, Excercising tips, or even Eating tips? Please help me. Thank you.

  2. Well I'm not overweight or anything

    But I have gained 3 lbs in the last year with no growth (due to the increase of muscle).  Just in case my doctor said cut down on fatty foods.  No soda is a great idea.  Also to try and avoid taking seconds for food unless your first plate was very little.

    Well, I don't know much about weight-lifting but light+more reps build lean muscles if you want that.  Or you can do less reps, heavier weights for bigger muscles.

    At your weight, you shouldn't be running because there is a higher risk of joint injuries or other things.  My coach said it's better off that overweight people who want to get in shape take long walks at a good pace.  The long walks, take the energy from your fats (long-term stored energy).  Running uses more of the quicker energy such as carbs.
