  1. the M/W just heats the water not the pot

    How would taste change>>??

    you got a dirty pot??

  2. For me, it depends on whether I am using tap water or filtered water.  If you are using tap water, in today's times, I would definitely boil it on the stove.  If you are in a hurry, use the microwave, but I believe that boiling it on the stove is still more beneficial to kill any living organisms, reduce the chemicals, etc.........

  3. depending on what you're using. if a regular metal pan for stove it'll taste nice so long its well cleaned. if on microwave I tend to use a clear with a top and the little hole in it, just for that purpose, otherwise my water will taste like some sort of plastic or the last food I heated in it.

  4. water will taste the same regardles... but boiling it in the water will make it hotter faster than microwave

  5. On the stove.  Put a lid on the pot.  It's faster and more energy efficient, and it will taste the same unless you've got some residual food in the pot.

  6. water is water.

  7. The stove is your best bet!

  8. doesn't change the taste and it takes about the same amount of time no matter which way you do it.

  9. There is no difference in taste but the stove is safer. Water in the microwave can become superheated and boil over when you add anything to it.

  10. I think the stove will.  I haven't tried the microwave but the whole radiation thing lingers over my head!  Both are probably safe lol im just being cautious.

  11. Haha....well it depends how much time you have. Both the stove and the microwave will heat your water. Would you like it done in 2 minutes or 10?....Microwave it -.-

  12. The kind of 'radiation' that  a microwave uses has nothing to do with nuclear power even if it is slang to say 'nuke' it, when we mean 'microwave' it. If you are comfortable with the level of radiation in cell phones, radios and the rays of the sun, you shouldn't worry if your hot water is microwaved or warmed on a stove.

For best results try to find water with one hydrogen to two parts oxygen, it's yummy!

  13. Neither affects taste.

  14. Well I've never noticed a difference, but I guess you could consider you would be using metal and that would get into it as opposed to microwaveable plastic.

  15. It depends on how much water really. If it's only a small amount of water, let's say one glass? I'd prefer to use the microwave. But if you're going to boil like a gallon or so, try the stove... Either way it's still up to you. If you have a lot of time and if you have a pretty large microwave, you can still boil a gallon of water in it...

  16. stove
