Im trying to open my inground pool?

Im trying to open my 16x32 ft inground pool for the season, but im not sure how to get the pump to fill with water so I can back wash it, does anyone know how I can do this?

can you put the pump under a tap or something? Maybe try that or you could try and get a pool consultant or something. I'm sure there's a way unless you don't actually have to really clean the pump at all.

Remove the lid to the pump and fill with water from a hose or use a bucket. This will help the pump get primed and run.
