Im trying to organise 30th bday for hubby on the gold coast any ideas?

we will have a 3 week old baby and dont want anything to big family and close friends some place nice but havent got a clue. Help.

You could just have a nice bbq down on the beach?  There is mini golf / putt putt?  If you didn't have the baby I would suggest minus 5 - that is fun!  If you have the money get him a present of racing wrx's around.  Why not have a look at http://www.redballoondays.com.au/ if you haven't already got him a gift?
