Im trying to run more efficiently, (forefoot running), should i get the newtons or the brooks Glycerin 6?

  1. I don't equate forefoot running with efficiency.  The natural running motion of the feet suggest the heel should contact the surface first and then roll forward onto the forefoot.  An exception would be that if you're an elite runner whose forward motion is so fast that heel contact is impossible.

    Any intentional artificial modification would seem to carry a bountiful array of possible problems.  In other words, adjusting your running mechanics to accomodate forefoot contact could put undue stress upon other muscles or joints that totally s***w up this whole theory.
