  1. dont waste their money a real driver would find a way to race with our with out his parents aproval you just dont have that drive in you.

  2. Who has the cash?

I would have had my kid racing carts, until I found out, a couple grand to get started, and be competitive.

He's doing just fine playing Baseball and Football.

    Running Quads on the trails.

  3. My suggestion would be to research it a lot so that you can answer questions they might have such as cost, time involved, danger, etc; if you havent already.  Show them you're really interested and let them know you are willing to compromise with them.  For example, if they say no, it's too expensive, offer to help pay for it by getting a part time job after school and tell them that you'll keep your grades up as well.  If they're worried about your driving, tell them you'll only race on the track and as such keep your driving record clean.  Hope this helps.

  4. do ya have a car, if so just get them outside while your driving and show them ur good. Even maybe ask your buddies to give you a hand ya know.

  5. Point out that the two time champ of NASCAR, Tony Stewart, started out this way.

Also point out that Tony has made 68 million dollars in winnings in the last 10 years.

    That is no small scratch.

And, promise to put them in the nursing home with the good applesauce.

  6. Before you go racing, you need to look at the money and business side of the sport to see how a race team can survive. It requires a decent cash flow, even for a mini sprint. Get some facts and figures, do some research, and talk to your parents armed with too much information for them to process.
