Im ttc for a year now and i want to know

ive been ttc for a year now and i wanted to know if i see my partner for 3x a week could my chances of getting pregnant good? also im taking prenatal vitamins and in 2wks im going to see the doc i was thinking of getting on birth control pills to concieve. thats what happen with my first child even though he wasnt planned. is there any advice you could give me?

Getting on birth control pills won't make you conceive.  It was chance that your first child was conceived while on the Pill, because you weren't taking the Pill correctly.  If you take the Pill correctly, it makes you NOT ovulate, which will most definitely prevent conception.

I recommend that you learn more about ovulation and start reading the signs in your body to understand when you are fertile and when not.  When your ovary releases an egg, your temperature will change and your vaginal discharge will change in consistency.  In order to know when this has happened, you need to monitor your temperature a few times a day at the same time every day, and you also need to check the consistency and quality of your vaginal fluids daily.  Once you know enough about your own body to recognize the changes that mean you're ovulating, getting pregnant will be much easier.

accoding to my doc u should be having regular s*x atleast 3x a week every week.  make sure its around ovulation time
