Im turining 18 and do i fear that i still have to have a curfew ??? ?

Im turinin 18 in a month and fear that i will still be treated like a kid , and not an adult. I live in Canada and 18 is considered afult while 19 os legal drinking age. Right now i come home ususally 1 am -2 am on weekends cuz i have to take the bus home which takes almost an hour so i onlt chill til like midnight - 1 am . But its nothing compared to my friends who are the same age and chill till like 3 am out at night . I never got caught or booked for anything although i went drinking a couple of times but i never went past my limit and caused trouble. I am going to college and i did get decent grades in high school . So what can i do to get rid of my curgew ... i want to be able to have more freedom sometimes so i can stay out longer ... ???

explain to your parents that you would like to live in an apartment with a roommate because you need to break free for awhile and experience independence.    you may need to actually get a part time job to pay your expenses to do this.     perhaps maybe you should try dorm life instead.  either way... no curfew.  

the fact of the matter is as long as you live in your parents house.... they will want to make sure you are safe... and if you say you will be home at 2 or whatever... more than likely your mom/dad are waiting for that door to close when you come home so that they can relax.  

someday you may experience what it is like to have a child and the enormous drive to protect that child.

well that's never gonna change as long as you live with your parents and if you are going into college then deal with it till you get a dorm room cause than they cant tell you what to do how would they know.

Try talking to your parents, reasoning with them

say you`re trustworthy,and tht you love them(your parents) and wouldnt do anything to dissapoint them , say tht your not gna go overboard or anything

Why are you asking your question here?  You Need To Talk To Your Parents!!!  Did they tell you that you would still have a curfew?
