i think that i would also serve food that is black and white like make chocolate cupcakes with white frosting and chocolate and vanilla cookies.  I would also make a dance floor that in black and white tiles if you can.  Hope you have an awesome party

How about just spending the night with your parents.  Maybe going to dinner and a movie with them.  It would definitely make their day if not their entire year.  It would mean more to them then it would to any of the friends you invited to your party.  Think of it this way, they put you into this world, and they will always be there for you.  When you get older you will realize that family are the only one's that will always be your friends.

I guess I don't know what a black and white party is. If you mean racial then that is just stupid. If you mean the idea of getting a bunch of people together as to having a quiet birthday then just have a handful of friends come over to say happy birthday. One year when I was a teen I had my friends get together with me at the park to play a game of capture the flag with water guns and water balloons, but that is more a boy thing so be creative.

black and white for the decorations/color scheme

you ever see a black & white cookie?  same idea.  apply it to a cake.  find a decent bakery, and have one layer chocolate one layer angel cake with whipped cream filling and frost one side with chocolate and the other with vanilla.  half black/half white cake.

get white and SILVER balloons.  they go extremely well together.  only a few black balloons, if any.  don't try to make the place look morbid.

for the food itself, don't worry about the B&W theme, just make your plates/napkins/cups/silverware match the color scheme.  black and white streamers can be nice, as well as New Years-like confetti (with glitter)... sprinkle that all over the tables (before setting them) and on the floors.

make sure the invitations clearly read "black and white birthday party, dress accordingly".  favors could include those mini black and white cookies (Starbucks sells them, as do some bakeries).

games can be anything you want.
