Im turning 17 in one month party ideas please!?

Ok........Im about to turn 17 in may and i want to have a party. I live in memphis so its sorta hard to throw a party with all of the other high school parties around my b-day. I just decided 2 have my party at my uncles house. If any one has any ideas, theems, or suggestions please let me know thanks!

Plan it before all the graduation parties are held, May - June?  A house party should be a  simple relaxing affair, casual food and drink. A pool party would be nice?

um oriental themes are always great for parties as you can tie the theme in with the lighting.

For one of my friend's 17th, I did a scavenger hunt.  I wrote the list of things to find all over town, we photoed them or filmed them, had a set time we'd all meet back and review the finds.  

The list had things like,

1.  Get a stranger to impersonate someone famous.

2.  Find someone famous.

3.  Get everyone (but one) to imitate a window of manniquins.

4.  Build a spam castle.

5.  Have two Elvises in the same place at the same time.

6.  Catch someone rubbernecking.

7.  Find a purple car.

8.  Get the police to pat you down (dont get in trouble)

9.  Get a girl into the mens room and then get caught.

10. Go through the drive through and garble-talk.

etc.  I think i had 50 things, all just limited by time.  It was fun

Then you just have to have cars or one meeting place and cameras.  (1 hr develop. so video is optimal)

One of the best parties I ever through in my younger day involved a slip and slide....OH and once I also put up an "interactive" birthday card.  I put up a piece of canvas on a wall and laid trash bags below it.  Then I put out paint and paint brushes...It turned out to be a REALLY good idea.

You could decorate with streamers and balloons. Play some music that you like. kareoke is always really funny. guitar hero or rock band is really fun to play. dance dance revolution.
